About David McKinney

David McKinney (Born 1981, West Palm Beach, United States) is an artist who works in a variety of media. By exploring the concept of landscape in a nostalgic way, McKinney investigates the dynamics of landscape, including the manipulation of its effects and the limits of perspective based on our assumptions to conjure the realms of our imagination. His artworks are based on life and subjects which open a unique poetic vein. Multilayered images arise in which the fragility and instability of our seemingly certain reality is questioned.
